Autodir defends your Linux directories for privacy and intrusions

directoryMake your directories invisible and out of reach

When you logout, your home directories are removed.

Unless you are root on the server or use these directories again, others would not see their presence under normal conditions.

directoryExpose them only if necessary

They exist only if needed. Otherwise, they are not shown to you or others.

Whole process is fully automated with help from Linux kernel.

directoryGuard the vulnerable

As Linux becoming more popular, non-Linux experts are needed to maintain them.

Permissions of your stuff changed, next time Autodir will correct them.

directorydirectoryClone them

Clone your directories by an external command with exclusive access given to them. This is guaranteed to happen while no one modifying files.

The process is fully automated and only root can configure this feature. See docs and there are some limitations to this under some conditions.
